Stephanie Lommen approached us about six months ago with a dream. She wanted to establish her own gym in Venlo, but she was still lacking a venue, permit, and a well-thought-out plan. We supported Stephanie in the realisation of her dream. We helped her in her search for a venue and we arranged the permit that she needed to operate at the chosen location. We then developed the entire concept together, thereby creating a solid foundation for establishing ONE GYM Venlo.
 
Her dream has now been fulfilled. In just two and a half days, we installed a floor with a sprint track. We also installed a custom RIG fitted out with all the equipment she wanted such as a monkey bar, multiple squat spaces, punch bag and TRX hangers, as well as a clever storage space. And to ensure that her customers are getting the right workout and are provided with all the physical data available, we have, as the icing on the cake, also installed an ACCUNIQ BC380. ONE GYM is now ready to open its doors.

Did you want to take care of all activities concerning the start of your business yourself, at first? Or did you decide to call in help right away?
"I had been renting a building for five years and was not able to grow there. So I started looking at some buildings in Venlo. A valued colleague suggested Michelle from GymCreators as someone to help me. I sent a message to GymCreators and immediately received a warm response. This was the start of a perfect collaboration. What issues would you have encountered if you had not teamed up with GymCreators?
"Things like getting the appropriate permit would have been very difficult. The physical set-up of the studio is perfect as well, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of GymCreators. They have also helped with regard to business organisation and my market position, by looking at the subscription prices, for example." 
 
You put a lot of trust in a third party helping you to start your business. Were you sceptical at first, whether this would work?
"I had a good feeling from the start. Michelle is a specialist in her field and knows what she's talking about. It's really helpful that she has her own fitness company, FitFabrique, and knows which steps you need to take. I asked a lot of questions and Michelle had an answer to each and every one of them. She was an amazing help. GymCreators really went above and beyond."
